Description:

Events Coordinator Intern | 10-15 hours per week

This position will assist in the coordination and promotion of on- and off-campus recruiting events and trips, as well as assistance during these events. Along with the above, the Events Coordinating Intern will assist in the monthly coordinating of meetings between the Placement Director and the Department Heads, and scheduling in-class trainings and conference calls. The position will also maintain consistent communication with Placement Data & Management Intern, Career Services Director, Campus Career Center, and employers through online communications, phone calls, and in-person connections.

Student Secretary | 5 hours

This position will assist the School of Business in reception duties: greet students/visitors, schedule advising appointments, answer telephones, schedule rooms, and support office staff, etc. In addition, this position will assist faculty, as needed, in grading assignments, entering grades, and creating spreadsheets, making copies, etc. Helping to maintain a clean and organized office, break room, and work rooms will also be required.

Qualifications:

  • Available to Upperclassmen (Junior or Senior) and Graduate Students.
  • Business Major (required).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks (Required).
  • Ability to work well with students, faculty, staff and leaders in professional fields (Required).
  • Excellent written and oral communication (Required).
  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft suite of applications and internet-based platforms (Google suite, etc.).
  • Prior experience in graphic design and advertising material creation (Preferred).
  • Strong personal sense of accountability and time management.
